ID Tags are made from a special plastic and the needle sizes are then "etched" into the yellow surface. The black numbers will never wear off. Each Tag has little "barbs" that keep the cable from slipping out through the slot when they are installed on your needle. Yet, you only have give them a gentle tug and the tags are easily removed. They will not fall off accidentally, either.
