How to Order

Order Securely Online: 24/7 365 days a year by adding products to your shopping cart by clicking on the add to cart button located on all products. When you're done adding items, simply click on the "View Cart" tab at the top of any page. You can use the Shipping Calculator located at the bottom of that page if you wish to calculate shipping costs and estimated delivery dates or click on the Checkout button and follow the directions on the screen.

Shipping and Handling

To calculate shipping and estimated delivery dates:

Shipping costs are based on weight and destination and how quickly you'd like to receive your order. Add the items(s) you would like to purchase to the cart and then use the Shipping Calculator located at the bottom of the cart page. It will display the available methods and costs as well as estimated delivery dates.

International Orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail International. The shipping charges are based on the weight of the order plus the box and a handling fee. International orders are in transit 4-10 days. The easiest way to find out what the shipping charges will be is to add the items to your cart and then use the shipping calculator located at the bottom of the cart page. Enter your Postal Code and your Province and choose your country. Choose International for your shipping method and click apply to update your total. Any local duties, taxes or customs charges assessed by your government are your responsibility. Keep in mind that we have absolutely no control over these charges. Please note that if a package is sent to someone other than you, that person is responsible for payment of duties and taxes. If you refuse to accept delivery of the package, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for both outbound and inbound shipping charges. We do not accept any orders or ship anywhere except Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the United States. UK includes: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, Sark and Isle of Man. NOTE: all orders take 1-3 business days for processing before they are shipped. Please remember this when calculating shipping times (processing time + time in transit).

Processing Your Order

It generally takes between 1 and 3 business days from the time your order is placed for the order to be processed, packed, and ready for shipping including expedited orders. Please remember this when calculating shipping times (processing time + time in transit). NOTE: International orders may take additional time. We will verify the information you provide us with the card issuing bank before you order ships.

Order Status

When your order ships, you will receive an email with complete information on what was shipped and a tracking number. That number can be used to track your package in transit. Instructions for tracking are included in the email. You can also check the status of your order at anytime here: Order Status. Please note, if you call UPS to make an address change or your address is incorrect they will charge us an address change/correction fee. We will pass this along to you.

Although every attempt is made to maintain inventory of each product we carry, occasionally we may run out of certain products. In this event, we will give you an estimated time of availability and give you the choice of canceling the out-of-stock items and sending the remaining items in your order or holding off shipment of your entire order until the out-of-stock product is available and we can ship your order whole.

Matching Dye lots

Dye lots are guaranteed to match for yarn placed in a single order. If we have differing lot numbers we will contact you before sending your order to verify that you need all of the same number. Exceptions include: yarns that are specified by the manufacturer as not dyelotted and discontinued or clearance yarns. You may receive differing numbers on non dyelotted yarns. We cannot guarantee matching numbers on clearance or discontinued yarns, we will send whatever we have on hand. Not sure why matching dye lots are important? See: What is a Dye Lot?

Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged to orders shipping within Michigan only.



Our Unconditional 90 day Money Back Guarantee

All of our products are unconditionally guaranteed and may be returned for refund, less shipping and handling, within 90 days from the date of shipping. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 90 days of shipment. Exceptions are computer software, books, patterns, discontinued items, clearance items and special orders. Books are only returnable if damaged in transit, it will be replaced with the same title. Software is returnable if unopened otherwise it will only be replaced with the same title. There are absolutely no refunds on books, patterns, opened software, discontinued items, clearance items or special orders.

You are responsible for shipping and insurance charges on returns unless the return is due to a defective item. Items must be returned in the condition received. Please enclose a copy of your invoice and a note explaining why you are returning the product. ** NOTE: Special Order items are not returnable. Returns over $100.00 may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Return Instructions:

1. Books, patterns, opened software, discontinued items, clearance items, or special orders cannot be returned.

2. All other items in their original packaging may be returned within 90 days. Send qualifying returns to the address listed at the top of this page. Please include a copy of the receipt and the reason for return.

We advise using the tracking service and insurance provided by your chosen shipping carrier. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Catalog Requests

As a dynamic, growing company, catalogs present a limitation as to how often we can change our product offerings. We add and remove products on at least a monthly basis, usually weekly. Since a catalog takes 1-2 months to compile and print, any catalog we printed would most likely be obsolete by the time you received it. Also, catalogs are very expensive to produce. By keeping our costs low, we can pass this savings along to you. The Internet is the least expensive and most up-to-date catalog possible.
