CATEGORY 2 FINE: SPORT WEIGHT, BABY YARN:
A light weight yarn used for babywear, sweaters, and lighter throws, this weight is also appropriate for family knits. The finer gauge is wonderful for lace or cable texture garment designs, but will generally be used for smaller projects because of the time needed to complete a project.
Yarn types in this category are often made from cotton, cotton/synthetic blends, wool, acrylic or wool/synthetic blends.
