Sleek
Knew this was perfect for the Lost Souls shawl. Used a E hook (3 sizes smaller than recommended) as i wanted the pattern more 'demure'. It's super soft, sleek and has gorgeous shine. Travels great since it's lightweight. Fantastic drape. Anxious to get a few other colors now! Be aware, it's metallic thread covering a BLACK core. No problem for me; but depending on your idea, if you want completely the same color, it's not for you.
ProsGreat for on-the-go. Sensuous to work with, not cumbersome with a large project. Delightful array of metallic colors. Bit of a learning curve, and worth it!
ConsWhile pleasurable to work with; it DOES snag rather easily. No hangnails allowed! Avoid excessive frogging; as it's difficult to undo without knotting up, and can lose some of the shimmer, appearing rather worn. Metallic threads cove a black core; so if you want the same color through and through, don't purchase.
